Biography

Matthew D. Barry is an associate attorney at Lyons, Beaudry & Harrison, P.A. He is a native Floridian, born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area. He received his B.A. from Ave Maria University in 2008; his M.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2010; and his J.D., cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2013. While in law school, Mr. Barry was an editor of the Nova Law Review. Mr. Barry was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013.

Since his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Barry has focused his practice on elder law (including Medicaid nursing home assistance), guardianship, and wills, trusts, and estates. He is a member of the Elder Law section of the Florida Bar; the Real Property Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar; the Sarasota County Bar Association; and the Thomas E. Penick Jr. American Inn of Court. Mr. Barry is accredited as an attorney by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
