Biography
A 1972 graduate of Manatee Junior College with an associate degree in legal secretarial studies, Rita has worked in in Sarasota, Florida since October 1971 as a legal assistant. She has achieved the designation of Florida Registered Paralegal. Rita has experience working in numerous areas of the law, including municipality law, family law, labor law, civil and construction litigation, insurance defense and corporate/business law. Since joining Lyons, Beaudry & Harrison, P.A. in 1993, she mainly assists in trust and estate administration and elder law.
Rita helps our elderly clients with reviewing and paying their bills and reviewing and managing their healthcare. She provides all necessary services for their benefit, including managing their households, arranging for caregivers and handling their payrolls. She also assists in the preparation of detailed accountings. Rita is a member and current past-secretary of the Southwest Florida Paralegal Association.
